North Stonington - Grant V. Kavanagh passed away on Oct. 30, 2016. He was born on June 3, 1937, in his family home in North Stonington, to John and Barbara Kavanagh.He graduated from Wheeler High School in 1954, served in the Army National Guard, worked for General Dynamics and The Mystic Seaport and started a construction and excavation business, which he ran until his retirement.He will be missed, and is survived by his wife, Beverly Kavanagh; daughters, Sandra Pasieka, Lorraine Forbes, and Linda Lee; sons, Thomas Main Jr. and Kevin Main; seven grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.Services will be at 11 a.m. on Monday, Nov. 28 at North Stonington Baptist Church.
