Harry Deleon Brown1934-2017Harry D. Brown, 82, of Daphne, AL passed away on Sunday, April 2, 2017. He was born on May 19, 1934 in Lake City, S.C. Harry retried 1st.Sgt. in the U.S. Marine Corp after 22 years of service to his country. He also retired from the U. S. Civil Service with 29 years of service. He was a lifetime member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and a longtime member of the Optimist Club for which he thoroughly enjoyed helping children. He was preceded in death by his son, Anthony Brown; and ten siblings.Harry is survived by his wife of 55 years, Patricia P. Brown; three children, Cynthia (Frank) Persin, Angela Ripperger and Stephen (Caitlin) Brown; sixteen grandchildren; fourteen great grandchildren; and a sister-in-law, Irene Brown. Funeral services will be held at 11:30AM on Thursday, April 6, 2017 at Faith Chapel Funeral Home South with Bishop Greg Boxx officiating. Burial will follow services in Barrancas National Cemetery, NAS Pensacola, FL.The family will receive friends at 10:30AM prior to services. Marine Corp Honor Team to serve as pallbearers.
