Freeman, Helen Helen Louise (Harper) Freeman passed away on July 26, 2017 at the age of 86. She was born on August 6, 1930 in Mesa, Arizona. Helen was a descendent of Mormon pioneer settlers and the eldest of four children born to Edwin and NaDene (Dana) Harper. After graduating from Mesa High in 1948, she attended nursing school at Good Samaritan Hospital and worked as a nurse at Mesa Southside Hospital. In 1951, she married Allen Wayne Freeman in the Mesa Arizona Temple. She will be remembered for her sense of humor and dedicated service to her family and friends. Helen was preceded in death by her husband Wayne, son Steven, daughter-in-law Olivia, and brothers Dean and Darrel Harper. She is survived by her sister Susan Lines, children Mark (LeeAnn), Craig (Cathy), Kelly (Megan), Matthew (Sharon), Susan Ellsworth (Sterling), John (Sarah), 28 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren. A visitation will be held Friday, August 4, 6-8 p.m. at the Lehi Stake Center, 1430 N. Grand, Mesa, Arizona. Graveside services will precede the funeral Saturday, August 5, 9 a.m. at the Mesa City Cemetery, with funeral services following at 11 a.m. at the Lehi Stake Center.
