Hilda Silva BoevingMemphis, TNHilda Silva Boeving, 98, passed away on February 4, 2017 at Ave Maria Home. She was born on March 14, 1918 in Cabo Rojo, Puerto Rico. She was a premed major at Sophie Newcomb College, New Orleans, where she met her future husband, Robert. She leaves three sons, Ronald Boeving (Faith), Roger Boeving (Judith), and Ricky Boeving (Suzanne), as well as six grandchildren and twelve great grandchildren. Her family was her greatest joy. She was preceded in death by her parents, Fernando Silva and Onory Sosa, sister, Dora Montalvo, granddaughter, Melanie Boeving, and her beloved husband of 64 years, Robert Esselman Boeving. She and her husband were members of Windyke Country Club. Hilda was an avid golfer playing into her eighties. The family would like to thank the staff at Ave Maria for the beautiful and loving care that she received. A visitation will be 9:00 to 10:00 a.m., Thursday, February 9th in the chapel at Ave Maria.
