Irmgard "Frankie" Martha HirschVentura / Oxnard, CA Irmgard "Frankie" Martha Hirsch, passed away on January 20, 2017. Frankie was born on March 30, 1923, in Goseck, Germany. She married her late husband Joe while he was stationed with U.S. Army in Germany. From Germany they came to live in Nebraska for couple years and then made Ventura their home in early 60's. Frankie worked as assistant to nurses in VCMC for 15 years and was preceded in death by her husband Joe Hirsch in 2005 who also worked many years for VCMC after he retired from U.S. Army. The couple had no children. They are both remembered as very pleasant and most reliable workers by their coworkers and friends. They were dedicated friends to many and made lasting most favorable memories to all they met. Frankie suffered suddenly for short time of illness before she passed away in St. John's Regional Medical Center, in Oxnard. She humbly requested no special services upon her death just cremation, but her friends gathered for a reception to remember her beautiful life.
