James Johnson Jr.James Johnson Jr., 73, of Lafayette, passed away on November 15, 2013 at 3:30 a.m. at his residence. James was born on February 10, 1940 in Fountain County, IN to the late James and Ellen (Kirts) Johnson. James was in the Navy. He married Ruth O'Leary and she survives. Surviving along with his wife, are six stepchildren, Christine Bell, Robert (Ashley) Wells, Jessica Snider, Mark Corwin, David Davis, and Christopher Davis. Also surviving are five siblings, Cecil (Rose) Johnson, Robert (Artie) Johnson, Roy (Brenda) Johnson, Janet Helm, and Ed (Adlene) Johnson, and several grandchildren.
