DOTSONJames T. (Ted) Dotson, Jr. 64 of Union, Kentucky passed away Wednesday, November 23, 2016 following a long illness. Ted was born on December 27, 1951 in Virginia. He is preceded in death by his parents James Sr. and Jean Dotson and brother Thomas Dotson. He was an avid hunter and crossword puzzle enthusiast. Ted was employed as a truck driver for 41 years. He is survived by his wife of 23 years Mary Dotson; step sons Brian Lane and Burt (Alisa) Lane; 6 step grandchildren; sisters Patricia Fulmer and Laura (Randy) Moore; brothers Tim (Rhonda) Dotson, Andy (Annette) Dotson, Joe (Pam) Dotson and Donnie (Theresa) Dotson; several nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held at Floral Hills Funeral Home on Sunday, November 27, 2016 from 11 am until time of Funeral Service at 1 pm. Private burial will be at Floral Hills Memorial Gardens.
