Jane V. Witbrodt, age 66, passed away Sunday, July 11, 2010, at her home in Oscoda. She was born on July 26, 1943, in Bay City to Milford and Cecelia Post (nee Craft). Jane went to school at Visitation Catholic School in Bay City. She was a former employee of Jamieson Nursing Home in Harrisville, where she worked for 16 years. Jane loved to travel and being with her grandchildren. She was a 25-year member of the America Legion Post 274 in Oscoda. Jane is survived by her loving husband, Richard, whom she married on April 28, 1990. She is also survived by her children, Richard (Jennifer) Bruner, Lloyd (Christie) Bruner, Kenneth (Liza) Bruner, Keith Bruner, Amy (Jeffrey) Anderson and Diana (Sean) Farlow; her stepchildren, Lisa (Michael) Nicholas, Jessica Witbrodt and Melissa (Brad) Parker; her brothers, Wayne and Jeffrey Post; 21 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. Jane was preceded in death by her parents and her sister, Geraldine (Gerry). A memorial service was held on Monday, July 26, at the American Legion Post 274 with the Rev. Rob Nordin officiating.
