Jeffrey Lloyd WoodVentura, CAJeffery Lloyd Wood, 47, formerly of Ventura, passed away suddenly on September 17, 2017, in Asbury Park, New Jersey. Jeff was born on November 21, 1969 at Community Memorial Hospital. He attended schools in Ventura, graduating from Buena High School in 1987.Jeff attended college in San Diego, studying real estate. His career led him to San Francisco, Columbus, Ohio, New York and New Jersey. Jeff also loved Volkswagen Sciroccos, traveling to Germany to visit the Scirocco plant. He attended and completed numerous classes on restoring and repairing Sciroccos. Jeff's second love were his four legged friends, Shante & Kobe. Jeff was non-judgmental and loved everyone he came in contact with. He was also a very talented man.Jeff is survived by his parents, Leonard and Geneva (Harwell) Wood of Ventura, his sisters, Brenda Shirey (Dave) and Becky Woodman (Rick); nieces Jennifer Stanford, Stephanie Lopez and Danielle Reyes, nephew Paul Shirey. Jeff is survived by his best friend and partner Alex Foust.Burial will be held at Conejo Mountain Memorial Park on Friday, October 6, 2017 at 11:30 a.m.
