Bruechert, Jerry L.Jerry L. Bruechert, age 68, of 1911 Jackson Street, Two Rivers, died Monday, April 3, 2017 at his residence surrounded by his family after a courageous battle with cancer.He was born on March 10, 1949 in Two Rivers, son of the late William O. & Winnifred (Vanderbusch) Bruechert. Jerry was a graduate of Mishicot High School. On September 21, 1985 he married the former Susan Louise Wheelock in Manitowoc. She preceded him in death on January 9, 2016. Jerry was employed with Fischer Hamilton of Two Rivers for 45 years. Following his retirement, he was a bus driver for a few years with the Two Rivers Bus Company. He loved playing pool and riding his motorcycles.Survivors include his children: Bill (Tina) Bruechert, Melody (Kurt) Wilda, all of Two Rivers; seven grandchildren: Hannah, Kesle, Ceyanna, Paul, Braydon, Jaelee & Mason; one great granddaughter: Raelynn; two brothers and one sister-in-law: Robert (Ruby) Bruechert, Elko, NV, John Bruechert, Two Rivers; a brother-in-law: David Wheelock and his wife Jean; and a sister-in-law: Kathi Borgwardt and her husband Keith. Nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends also survive. He was also preceded in death by a sister: Barbara LeClair; a sister-in-law: Terri Bruechert; a nephew: David LeClair; and a niece: Misty LeClair.Cremation has occurred at All-Care Cremation Center, Manitowoc. A Memorial Visitation will be held at The Klein & Stangel Funeral Home, Two Rivers, on Thursday, April 6, 2017 from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m.Jerry was a great father, grandfather and friend to all he knew. He will be deeply missed and never forgotten.
