We are deeply saddened to announce the passing of Jesse Austin, who was born on November 27, 1967, in Humboldt, Tennessee, United States. Jesse passed away on May 3, 2025, surrounded by loved ones.

Jesse was the beloved child of Barry and Ruth Austin and the devoted partner of Phalena Austin. Together, they raised three wonderful children: Marquita Austin-Yarbrough (spouse Tristan Yarbrough), Courtney Thomas, and Natasha Austin. Jesse was also a loving grandparent to nine grandchildren.

Jesse attended Humboldt High School and graduated in 1985. They had a passion for singing and enjoyed sharing their beautiful voice with others.

Jesse will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved them. May they rest in peace.
