Jesusita E. Garcia "Susie Salazar," 73, a resident of Las Vegas passed away on Saturday, Dec. 1, 2012.She was born on Jan. 19, 1939, to Ignacio Salazar and Higinia Aragon-Salazar.She retired from the New Mexico Behavioral Health Institute as a custodial supervisor.A lifelong Catholic, she was a member of Our Lady of Sorrows and Immaculate Conception Church.She is preceded in death by the father of her son: Frutoso Garcia; brothers: Lorenzo, Abel, Fedelino, Margarito; sister: Magdalena; and Madrina: Eva M. Garcia.She is survived by her daughters: Judy Gonzales, Rose Salazar (Chuck); son: Pedro Garcia; sisters and brothers: Sarah Salazar, Estevan Salazar (Mary), Marie Fram (Michael), Adela Salazar (Jose); sister-in-law: Trudy Salazar; grandchildren: Isaiah, Autumn, Keanu, Ryoko, Amanda, Stacey, John, Karlene; great-grandchildren: Eliza, Julius, Makayla, Nevaeh, Chris, Alli; father and stepmother of Rose and Judy, Richard Archuleta and wife AnnMarie. Cremation has taken place. Rosary services will be conducted at 9 a.m. on Thursday with funeral services following at Immaculate Conception Church in Las Vegas, with Father George V. Salazar as celebrant.
