Joanne Cruz RACINE- Joanne Cruz, 55, passed away at Froedtert Hospital on Monday, March 11, 2013. She was born on July 9, 1957 in Racine, the daughter of the late Alfonso and Margaret Ann (nee: Boehm) Cruz, Sr. Joanne was a graduate of J.I. Case High School. She was employed at St. Monica’s Senior Citizen Home for a number of years. She loved animals, especially her cats and dogs. Joanne is survived by her brothers, Al (Ann) Cruz, Richard (Judy) Cruz, Leonard (Gail Schacht) Cruz; niece, Christina Aguinaga; nephews, Jamie and Kelly Cruz and her ex-husband and friend, Steven Kirchmeier. She is further survived by great nieces, great nephews, other relatives and friends. She is preceded in death by her parents, three infant brothers and one infant sister. Memorial services will be held at Sturino Funeral Home on Saturday, March 16, 2013 at 3 p.m. There will be a visitation at the funeral home on Saturday before the service from 1 p.m. until time of service at 3 p.m. Memorials to American Liver Foundation, 1845 N Farwell Ave, Suite 312, Milwaukee, WI 53202, have been suggested by the family.
