Dec. 23, 1966 - Dec. 28, 2016 Jodie McIvor passed away suddenly of complications from the Flu at Providence Hospital in Everett, Washington on December 28, 2016 at the age of 50. She greeted everyone with a warm hug, compassion and an infectious smile. Everyone she knew she embraced with love and affection. Jodie had a passion for people and dogs. She always put everyone else first no matter how bad she felt. Throughout her life she could never pass a dog without stopping to pet it and chat it up with their owner. Jodie was born on December 23, 1966 in Seattle, Washington. She graduated from Mountlake Terrace High School in 1985 and Western Washington University in 1989. She started her career in banking at Pacific First Bank in Seattle and then moved to Key Bank in Redmond, Washington and became Assistant Vice President Relationship Manager Private Banking. After leaving the bank she became active in dog sitting in her home in Snohomish Washington sometimes having as many as 15 dogs. Jodie enjoyed travel, satisfying her love of tropical sands through frequent visits to Hawaii, the Caribbean Islands, Mexico, and the British Virgin Islands. When not on those beaches she enjoyed boating and water skiing on the Columbia River and boating and crabbing in Puget Sound. Her latest travel was to Las Vegas this past October with her boyfriend to take in the many shows. Jodie McIvor is survived by her mother and father, Kathi and Brian Wilson; grandparents, Gordon and Eleanor Wilson; and numerous other extended family members. Jodie will be remembered by all who knew her and those she touched. A celebration of Jodie's life will begin at 11:00 a.m. on January 21, 2017 at Flintoft's Funeral Home, 540 East Sunset Way, Issaquah, WA. A reception will follow at her parent's home in Issaquah, WA.
