John Lindsey Jr., 47, of Los Angeles, California, passed Friday, August 24, 2018. He was born to John Brooklyn Lindsey Sr., and Lula Mae Bedford, August 07, 1971. John graduated from Centennial Senior High School in 1989 and received a degree from Long Beach City in 2014. John worked in Demolition/Construction presently.
PV1 Lindsey Jr. served his country as a soldier in the 19th INF USAITC TRADOC of the Army for 5 years. In 1990 he completed his last tour in Georgia to support the U.S. military efforts. He was awarded with an Army Service Ribbon, and was an exemplary Marksman (M-16) sharpshooter.
John was on a bowling League three to four years at Gage Bowl in Hunginton Park,where he would often travel to vegas for bowling tournaments.Bowling was one his favorite things to do because john was very good at it, besides that was one of the things we did growing up with our father JB. however, john was quiet and reserved,he would watch you first then descide if he wanted to approach or say anything to you.
He was preceded in death by Son Davion Lindsey, Brothers' Jamaul Lindsey, Centrail Lindsey, Father John Brooklyn Lindsey Sr. John leaves behind his family; Grandson Noah Dixon, Stephanie Smith, Gwendolyn Malone, Crescentia Lindsey, Deborah Rodriguez, Sharon Smiley, Monique Lindsey, Jamonn Lindsey, Delario Lindsey, and Antonio Branic.
