John E. SroubekJohn E. Sroubek, 70, of Hinckley, Ohio, passed away on December 7, 2016.He was born on October 27, 1946 in Cleveland, Ohio to the late Alfred and Helena (nee Hrach) Sroubek. John was a proud veteran of the U.S. Army and retired from MTD. John was a member of the American Rabbit Breeder's Association as well as the Cuyahoga Rabbit Breeder's Association.He will be dearly missed by his sister, Janice (James) Smolka; his nephews, Jared (Jessica) Smolka and Jonathan Smolka; and his grandnephew, Marshall and grandniece, Julia Smolka.Friends may call on Tuesday, December 13, from 3 to 7 p.m. at Waite and Son Funeral Home, 3300 Center Rd., Brunswick, OH 44212. A service will be held on Wednesday, December 14 at the funeral home at 10 a.m., with Fr. Joe Mecir officiating. Interment will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery, Brookpark, Ohio.
