John Henry Hardin Sr., son of the late Eli and Janie Elizabeth Graham Hardin, was born February 2, 1959, in Chester, South Carolin. He departed this life on February 5, 2018. 

He attended East Mecklenburg High and played football there. He boxed golden glove and his lifelong dream was to be a mechanic (Harley Boy Shop). He was employed by Providence Landscaping Co. 

He was well loved and known by man as "Bo/ Bo Daddy/ Dog Man".

He is proceeded in death by his two sisters and three brothers.

His memories will always be Charisse's by his wife, Gloria Hardin, sons; John Hardin Jr. (Lanett), Michael Hood (LaToya), Charles Lester (Shirdea), Antonio Watson and daughters; La'Keetra Hardin and Tawonia Hood (Billy), sisters; Elnora Jordan, Hopie Hardin, Pauline Hardin, Judy Hardin, brothers; Eli Hardin Jr., Greenberry Hardin (Tina), Floyd Hardin, step-brothers; Tracy Truesdale.
