JORETTA "IRENE" ROAN SMITH Mueller's Greenlee Funeral Home Joretta "Irene" Roan Smith, 87, of Pasco, Washington passed away on Saturday, October 22, 2016. Irene was born on July 16, 1929, in Osage, Oklahoma. She was the only daughter of Archie and Clara Baker. Irene grew up in Oklahoma working on the family farm with her three brothers (Raymond, Robert and Harold) until 1943, when the family moved to the Tri-Cities. She met and married Bill Roan in 1945 and had three children (Barbara, Dan and Harold). Irene was a homemaker and worked various jobs outside the home during her lifetime. Bill passed away in 2001 and Irene remarried in 2006 to Lewis Smith. She enjoyed cooking, traveling, church, social events, and her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. Irene is survived by her husband Lew Smith of Pasco; children, Barbara Clark of Pasco; Dan Roan of Pasco; Harold (Kae) Roan of Pasco; Ed (Susie) Smith of Pasco; Richard Smith of West Richland; Michael (Sharon) Smith of Pasco; brother Harold (Janette) Baker; her grandchildren, great grandchildren, a great-great grandchild and numerous extended family members. She is preceded in death by her parents, Archie and Clara Baker; brothers, Raymond and Robert; son-in-law Michael Clark; daughter-in-law, Charlene Roan; and stepson, Ron Smith. Viewing will be Wednesday, October 26, 2016 from 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. at Mueller's Greenlee Funeral Home in Pasco. The funeral service will be Thursday, October 27, 2016 at 1:00 p.m. at Faith Assembly. Burial will be Friday, October 28, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. at Riverview Heights Cemetery in Kennewick.
