Joseph Earl "Joe" Nalley, 85, Lebanon, passed away Saturday, Dec. 10, 2016 at Jewish Hospital in Louisville. He was born on March 2, 1931 in Lebanon. He was preceded in death by: first wife, Ruby Mae Wheeler Nalley; parents, William Leo Nalley and Mattie Belle Pittman Nalley; brothers, Cleaver and Barnett Nalley; sister, Brenda Thomas; and granddaughter, Jaelyn Wheatley. Survivors include: wife of 37 years, Libby Luckett Nalley; four daughters, Alina (Bobby) Lee, Sheila (Steve) Wheatley, Bettina (Keith) Cambron all of Lebanon, and Lori (Stuart) Thomas of Bardstown; three sons, Kerry Russell of Lebanon, Kevin (Sandy) Russell of Bardstown, and Kris (Missy) Russell of Lebanon; sister, Audrey (Carl) Dupin of Louisville; 13 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.A Mass of Christian burial was held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Dec. 13, at St. Augustine Catholic Church with interment in the church cemetery with military honors conducted by the Marion County Veterans Honor Guard.Active pallbearers were his grandsons and great-grandsons: Chad Wheatley, Tyler Lee, Dylan Cambron, Landon Cambron, Collin Allen, Michael Thomas, Christopher Thomas, and Kavan Cox.Honorary pallbearers were members of the A.A. Family and honor guard.Bosley Funeral Home, Lebanon, was in charge of arrangements.
