Joseph Michael Kalesnick, age 51, passed away suddenly on November 4, in Coatesville, Pa. Joey is the beloved son of Carol Ann Ruggiero of Weymouth and Peter Michael Kalesnick of Hartford, Ky., and the stepson of Rocky Ruggiero and Vicki Kalesnick. Joey is survived by his sister, Kimberly Ann Dutra and her husband, Michael Dutra; his beautiful daughters, Ashley and Nikki Kalesnick; his grandchildren Isaiah Jordan and Hunter Luis, his nephews, (Uncle UJ) Jeremy Dutra and his partner Glen Bayer, Dan Dutra and his wife Nora and his great-nephew, DannyBoy and his great-niece McKenzie May Dutra; his dear friend Bill Shea and his dog, Maxi; his aunts Bonnie Chadbourne and her husband Clint, Linda Chadbourne and her husband Robert, Diana Willy, Sheila Dobson and Paula Storey and her husband Charles all of Maine, as well as many cousins. Also the stepbrother of Linda Kosich and Steven Ruggiero and his wife Donna. Joey made friends readily and always was trying to help others. He had many friends at the VA - Bedford, and the Coatesville, Pa., VA. Joey was born on January 1, 1965 in Portland, Maine. He graduated from Cohasset High School and attended Massasoit College and the New England Barber School. He still was in contact with many of those friends. He served in the military (both Air Force and Coast Guard) for 16 years. He excelled at bowling, even at a very young age, winning many tournaments, loved fishing, the ocean, sunsets, his kitty, Cosmo, as well as all animals and a very proud Boston sports fan of all the Boston teams. A memorial service was held to honor him in Coatesville as well. He was so loved and will be missed by so many. A celebration of his life will be held at Church of the Holy Nativity 8 Nevin Road, South Weymouth, at 11 a.m. Saturday, November 19. The services will be followed by a luncheon and a time for everyone to share their memories and be together. Burial will be at the Massachusetts National Cemetery at a later date. See
