Juanita Gavin was born April 6, 1962, in Detroit MI to Ruth and Warren Carter ( both proceeding in death). Juanita received her education in the Detroit Public School system where she was an honor student. She attended Wayne County Community College. Juanita married Rickie Gavin October 6, 1984, and the proud parents of Christina 33 Rickie Jr 30 and Reana 28. Juanita Found no greater joy than taking great care of her family. 

she accepted Christ at an early age and dedicated her life to the lord in 1993 at Greater Mt. Everett Church of God in Christ. Under the leadership of Elder Jesse G Bell. where she severed faithfully as a Sunday school teacher and a choir member. Whatever her hands found to she did it with a pure heart. In 2001 she joined New Hope Missionary Baptist Chruch. where she served as Chaplain for the Women of Hope Ministry and a teacher of the new members class. She became a biblical counselor. Her greatest desire was to please the Lord.  In 2008 she moved to Denver. She joined House of joy where she became an Elder. She would tell any and everyone about how good God is She would always say  "Yes to your will yes to your way Lord". 

Juanita's legacy will live through not only her family and friends but to all the many people her life has touched. Her loving husband Rickie Gavin Sr Loving children Christina ( Benjamin son) Rickie (Anisa Daughter) Reana (Jace Son). Her loving eight brothers and sisters and so many more.
