It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Kayla Alborn, a beloved wife, mother, daughter, and friend, who left this world on July 13, 2026, at the age of 43. Kayla was born on April 8, 1983, in Clintonville, Pennsylvania, to John and Dara Alborn.
Kayla’s life was defined by her deep commitment to her family and community. She was married to her soulmate, Cory McFadden, in 2006, and together they created a loving home filled with joy and laughter. As a devoted mother, Kayla cherished her three children: Jessica, Casey, and Ryan McFadden. They were the light of her life, and she dedicated herself to nurturing their dreams and ambitions while instilling in them the value of kindness and hard work.
Kayla was a proud graduate of Franklin High School, where she developed lifelong friendships and a passion for helping others. She embarked on a career as an administrative assistant, a role in which she excelled thanks to her organizational skills and her ability to connect with colleagues and clients alike. Her warm personality and infectious laughter made her a cherished member of the workforce, and she will be remembered fondly by all who had the pleasure of working with her.
Outside of work and family, Kayla was an avid supporter of local charities and often volunteered her time to help those in need. She found joy in bringing the community together, whether through organizing events or simply offering a helping hand to neighbors. Her spirit of generosity and compassion was a hallmark of her character.
Kayla is survived by her loving husband, Cory; her three children, Jessica, Casey, and Ryan; her parents, John and Dara Alborn; and many cherished friends and extended family members. She leaves behind a legacy of love, laughter, and compassion that will continue to inspire all who knew her.
In honor of Kayla’s memory, the family invites those who knew her to celebrate her life by sharing stories, laughter, and acts of kindness in her name. A private memorial service will be held to commemorate her life and the beautiful impact she made on the world.
