Kimberly Faith Abel, 57ZIONSVILLE - Kimberly Faith Abel, 57, passed away Tuesday, November 8, 2016. Kim was born on August 31, 1959 in Union City, IN to Charles and Judith Smith. She graduated from Union City Community High School and Ball State University.Kim was an elementary school librarian in Zionsville at Pleasant View and Eagle Elementary Schools for fourteen years and taught at Orchard Park Elementary School in Carmel as an ESL teacher for two years.She was a member of St. Francis in the Fields Church and a sustaining member of Junior League of Indianapolis, a board member of Hussey-Mayfield Public Library and served as a former junior warden at St. Paul's Episcopal Church.Kim is survived by her husband, George H. Abel II; her daughter, Betsy (Brian) Huffman of Zionsville, IN; son, Geoffrey G. Abel of Marion, IN; parents, Chuck and Judy Smith brothers, Scott and Chip Smith, and grandsons, Henry and Charlie Huffman.Memorial contributions may be made to the Zionsville Library Foundation. Waycross Camp and Conference Center, or Saint Francis-and-the-Fields Episcopal Church of Zionsville. A celebration of life open house will be from 12:30 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. Sunday, November 20, 2016 at the Brick Street Inn, located at 175 S.
