Burton, Lambert E.Lambert E. Burton "Slim", 80 of Sheboygan, passed away Saturday, October 29th, 2016 at the Sheboygan Progressive Health Care Center.Lambert was born on December 6, 1935 in the Town of Fredonia, in Ozaukee County, son of the late Michael and Elizabeth (Thomas) Burton. He attended St. Rose of Lima Catholic School, Fredonia and Port Washington High School. On October 13, 1956, he married Angeline Weyker in Port Washington, WI. Lambert was employed with Kohler Company in the Pottery division for 46.5 years retiring in 2001.Lambert was a member of St. Peter Claver Parish in Sheboygan, where he served as grounds keeper for several years. Lambert was also a member of the Catholic Order of Foresters and the Kohler Quarter Century Club. Lambert loved his family, spending time with his sons in the garage and traveling with family and friends. Lambert's hobbies included hunting and fishing (especially with family), listening to soft music, working on puzzles, cracking hickory nuts and working in the nuttery. Lambert's greatest love was his wife, sons, daughters-in-law, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. Lambert is survived by his wife of 60 years; four sons, Jeffery Burton, of Kohler, Brian (Cheryl) Burton of Cleveland, Michael (Nancy) Burton of Farmington, Minnesota, Steve (Lischen) Burton of Sheboygan; seven grandchildren, Eric (Erin), Melissa, Alexander, Joshua, David, Samuel, and Nathaniel; three great-grandchildren, Madalynn, Liam, and Ava; one sister, Marcella Dietzman of Milwaukee; one brother, Killian Burton of Belgium; four brothers-in-law and one sister-in-law, Vincent Weyker of Port Washington, Ronald and Mary Ellen Mueller of Whitefish, Montana, Herman Schuh of Cedarburg, and Peter Kultgen of Belgium; nieces and nephews.Lambert was proceeded in death by his parents; sister and brother in law, Emily (Walter) Liermann; brothers-in-law Glenn Dietzman and Stanley Weyker; and sisters-in-law, Mildred Burton, Sylvia Weyker, Mildred Schuh, and Agnes Kultgen.A funeral service to celebrate Lambert's life will take place at St. Peter Claver Parish, 1439 S. 12th St., Sheboygan, on Tuesday, November 1, 2016 at 3:30 p.m. with Fr. Paul Fliss officiating.
