Larry "Augie" D. Taylorage 66, of Indianapolis, passed away at his home on Wednesday evening, January 11, 2017 while surrounded by his loving family. Larry was born on July 27, 1950 in Indianapolis and was adopted and raised by Betty Alice Taylor and Earl Lucas. Both preceded him in death.Larry was a proud veteran of the United States Marine Corp. On June 3, 1972, he married Deanna Sue (Shearer) Taylor, who survives. He worked for the Indianapolis Star for 47 years first as a Mail Distribution Clerk and later as a Pressman/Pressman Supervisor. Larry was a member of several fraternal organizations including the Speedway Masonic Lodge #500, Murat Shrine, Murat Gatling Gun Club, and the past president of the Murat Mini-Cycles.Survivors include his wife Deanna of Indianapolis; children, Jenny Taylor-Hughes (Mike), Misty Taylor-Hatcher (Jason), Nikki Taylor-McIntire (James); grandchildren, Erica, Jimmy, Taylor, Ashley, Logan, Payton, Haley, Cody and Aaron; great-grandchildren, Brett and Natalie; and mother-in-law, Lillian Shearer.A visitation will be held on Sunday evening, January 15, 2017 from 4:00 until 8:00 p.m. with a Masonic Service at 4 p.m. at Wilson St. Pierre Funeral Service & Crematory, Greenwood Chapel, 481 W. Main Street, Greenwood, IN. Funeral services will be held on Monday, January 16 at 1:00 p.m. at the funeral home with calling 1 hour prior.
