Lee was a strong man as we all knew him. Though he had his battles with drug abuse and jail, he always tried to take care of his family. Having never gone to high school, Lee always strived to make sure his family’s needs were met. Lee loved sports. The Chicago Bears meant everything to him and he was able to finally go to a Bears game last year before falling ill. Lee has always been a man of faith and we know he has been called home to serve.
Born on March 4, 1951, in Omaha, Nebraska, Lee Curtis Samson departed this life in the night on March 25, 2019. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him. Lee is survived by his two sons, Jhamaal and David Allen, after years of no contact; and his daughters, Jennifer Walls, Jessica Monroe, and Rhonda Adams.
