It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Leversie Bailey, who was born on February 5, 1935, in Buffalo, New York. Leversie passed away on November 4, 2025, surrounded by loved ones.

Leversie lived a full and meaningful life in Buffalo, New York. Leversie attended Kensington High School and proudly graduated in 1953. Leversie went on to work at the Church of God in Christ, where they dedicated many years of service before retiring in 2020.

Leversie was married to Curtis Bailey in the year 1960. Together, they raised two wonderful children - Thaddeus Bailey and Anthony Bailey. Thaddeus is survived by their spouse Vietta Bailey. Leversie was also blessed with two grandchildren.

Leversie had a deep love for the Lord and was often seen attending church services and praising his name. Leversie's faith was a guiding light in their life, bringing comfort and solace.

Leversie's passing was a result of complications from pneumonia. Her absence will be deeply felt by all who knew and loved them.
