Lilah Gladys Crowl, age 85, of Oscoda passed away on Saturday, Feb. 28, 2015. She was born on Aug. 17, 1929 in Flint to the late Kenneth and Esther Arneson. Lilah was a member of Oscoda United Methodist Church since 1950. She worked very hard with the DE Crowl Refuge Service, putting in countless hours of time and dedication.Lilah loved bird watching, camping and gardening. She was a proud grandmother and loved spending as much time as possible with all of her grandchildren. Lilah is survived by her children, Delphine (Martin) Gayeski, Glenda Crowl and Brian Crowl; sister, Alberta (Jim) Waller; seven grandchildren; seven great grandchildren and three great-great grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Daniel Crowl; son, Mark "Wally" Crowl; and brother, Ken Arneson. Visitation will be held at Buresh Funeral Home in Oscoda on Wednesday, March 4 from 3 to 8 p.m. and a funeral service will be held at Oscoda United Methodist Church on Thursday, March 5 at 11 a.m. with Pastor Bill Seitz officiating. Interment will follow directly after the service in Oscoda Pinecrest Cemetery.
