Linda Ruth Hockett1940~2017Salt Lake City, UT-Our beloved wife, mother, grandmother and sister, Linda Ruth Hockett passed away on February 18, 2017. She was born on November 14, 1940 in Salt Lake City, UT to Thomas L. and Ruth Allen. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her. She was the kindest and most generous person we have ever known, always putting the welfare of others before her own. Everyone who knew her loved her and she loved everyone unconditionally. Linda is survived by her husband, Ted Gerald "Jerry" Hockett; son, Monte (Tracie) Rock; brother, Len (Sue) Allen; sister, Vicki (Dick) Blackham and her granddaughters: Haley, Kaysee and Lindsey Rock. Preceded in death by her parents; her grandson, Cameron Rock and sister-in-law, LaRee S. Allen.Funeral services for Linda will be held on Thursday February 23, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. at the Wilford Ward Chapel, 3179 South Highland Drive, Salt Lake City, UT, where a viewing will be held on Thursday morning from 9:45 to 10:45 a.m. prior to the services.
