She was born on March 16, 1933 in Stevensville, MT to Roy and Wilhelmina Ebenal. Lorraine had numerous chores as a young adult picking hops, tending to the farm animals and working at a Root-beer stand. She moved to Alaska where she met Dale Berg. They started their family and Lorraine devoted her life to being a stay at home mom then a grandmother and a very special great-grandmother. Our mom was so proud of her seven children and loved each of their spouses. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Whenever mom would see her grandbabies she would light up. She was a very kind, selfless and patient person that we admired. She crochet blankets and made one for most everyone in the family. In 2014 mom went to a family reunion, where she was crowned the Oldest Ebenal and was Queen Bee and treated as Royalty, especially by the Yarbors, Buck, Joel and Jeb.
