On October 24, 1981 she was married to George Bibeau. They spent many happy years together; their home often filled with family and friends. Lorraine and her sister-in-law, Ellie Mitchell worked together papering and painting for homeowners in the area, and for a time she worked at Simmonds Precision. Lorraine, always a homebody; was happiest when she was playing with or rocking a baby, cooking great meals, working in her beautiful gardens, or making quilts with her friend Pat Brown. Lorraine had a great sense of humor and was quick to laugh-she was our favorite audience. She was giving of herself and told her family often how much she loved them.Lorraine is survived by her three children, Cindy (Ralph) Ringer; sons, Dennis and Robert Hall, stepson Randall Bibeau. She is also survived by eight grandchildren, Craig Ringer, Charles (Abby) Ringer, Kirsten (Juan) De La Cruz, Preston Hall, Liz Hall, Donald Hall, Lawrence Hall, and Belinda Hall; as well as twelve great-grandchildren, Willem and Libby Ringer, Kareena, Klaas, Megan, and Derek Vorsteveld, Juan and Isabela De La Cruz, Elsie and Phinneas Hall, Vanessa Hall and Dominic Hall. Also Lorraine is survived by her brother Robert Mitchell, sister Gail Gevry and brother-in-law Rheal Gevry, also many cousins, nieces and nephews and friends that she loved very much.Lorraine was predeceased by her husband, George Bibeau; her infant daughter, Elsie Lu Hall; sisters, Shirley Collette and Nancy Mitchell and recently by her sister-in-law and dearest friend, Ellie Mitchell. She was also predeceased by her first husband, William H. Hall, the father of her four children. Per Lorraine's wish, there will be no formal services; however, we are planning a gathering of remembrance at her home on Sunday, June 4th with family and friends. Our family wishes to extend sincere gratitude to the nurses, caregivers, and staff from Addison County Home Health and Hospice and to the volunteer women. Thank you to the staff at Porter Medical for all the care they provided to her during her stay.
