Mariam B was born in San Fernando located in Trinidad & Tobago on September 26,1939 to Clementina and Bernard Baptiste. She obtained a leaving school certificate from Marabella government school. 

 Mariam was blessed with 2 children. Theckla Abbott & Derrick Baptiste. She was a well known and extremely talented cake decorator coming in first place in many competitions. She loved to visit Canarsie Pier with her loved ones. She also loved traveling with her companion James. Mariam was loving, wise & kind.  

 Mariam was an mother, grandmother, friend & community volunteer. She's leaves behind beautiful memories that will forever be in our hearts, her children and grand children who will keep her legacy alive. Theckla Abbott ( daughter ) Derrick baptiste (son) Tyra Abbott ( grand daughter ) Kendal Abbott ( grand son). She also leaves behind an abundance of friends who've become family.
