Age 83, passed away on Sunday, July 7, 2013. She was born on April 22, 1930 to Rudolf and Anna (Reinsdorf) Keilwitz of Hebron, NE. She retired from Los Alamos National Laboratories after 30 years of service. She volunteered with the Ladies Auxiliary with the Veterans of Foreign Wars. Ms. Helland, also enjoyed reading and playing dominoes at the Rio Rancho Senior Center. She is survived by her four children, Christina Bernardin and husband, Michael, of Los Alamos, NM, William R. Helland, Jr. and wife, Karen, of Whittier, CA, Greg Helland and wife, Carolyn, of Los Alamos, NM, and Brenda Carter of Albuquerque, NM; six grandchildren, Tina Montoya and husband, Carlos, Jeremy Helland, Loren Sorenson and husband, Bobby, Michael Helland, Jacob Carter and Anna Carter; two great-grandchildren, Jordan and Kayla Montoya. She will be remembered as a loving mother and grandmother who was always there for her family. Cremation has taken place and a Memorial Service will be held at 10:30 am, Saturday, July 13, 2013 at Shepherd Lutheran Church, 3900 Wyoming Boulevard NE, Albuquerque, NM.
