SHERMAN - Martha Kay Fitzsimmons would like to announce her homecoming to the Lord on November 16th, 2016. She celebrated life and our Savior at Calvary Baptist Church in Sherman, TX.A Celebration of Life will be at 10 a.m., Saturday, November 19, 2016 in the Dannel Funeral Chapel, Sherman, Texas. The family will receive friends from 6 - 7 p.m. Friday, November 18, 2016 at Dannel Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Cedarlawn Memorial Park, Sherman, Texas.She was the only child to Woodrow Crawford and Elaine Lewis born on November 27, 1944 in Sherman, Texas. She was a 1963 graduate of Sherman High School, attended Grayson College and Austin College. She started her working career at Reliable Life Insurance Company shortly after graduation and then became Administrative Assistant in the Texas State Comptroller's Office. On November 10, 1977, she married Joe Lynn Fitzsimmons in Durant, OK. She collected Bears and Longaberger Baskets.Martha is survived by her loving husband Joe Fitzsimmons; daughter, Rebecca Miller and her husband John Miller; son, Patrick Fitzsimmons and his wife Angela Fitzsimmons; grandchildren Taylor Guerra, Dylan Fitzsimmons, Cole Collins, Dawson Fitzsimmons, Coby Collins; great-grand children Alyssa Fitzsimmons, Kaden Guerra, Aubrey Guerra and their beloved dog Maddigan and cat Callie.Pallbearers will be Charles Hines, Cecil Cordell, Steve Davis, Mike Bernard, Bob Graves and Billy Shaw.She was loved my many and admired by most. We will miss our Wife, mom, and Nana. We will take comfort she is with the Lord.In lieu of flowers, donations may be donated in her memory to Calvary Baptist Church, 421 W.
