Martha Marcile "Marty" YoungBLOOMVILLE: Martha Marcile "Marty" Young, age 92 formerly of 2841 Albaugh Road, Bloomville, Ohio died at 10:15 A.M., Friday, January 6, 2017 at Carlisle Place, Bucyrus, Ohio. She was born on September 11, 1924 the youngest of eight children born to Clayton and Martha (Leimenstoll) Lutz in Crawford County. She married Franklin E. Young on July 28, 1945 and he died on May 16, 2013.She is survived by her children, Cecelia (Kent) Zwick, Nine Mile Falls, Washington, Karen Miller, Columbus, Ohio, David (Brenda) Young, rural Bloomville, Ohio, Lynn Utz, Bucyrus, Ohio and Stan Young (Trinka Messenheimer) Bowling Green, Ohio. Also surviving are twelve grandchildren, Adryan and Brant Zwick, Rod, Shelly and Christopher Miller, Marc, Brent and Shaun Young, Jeremey and Rob Utz, Broede Armstrong and Jack Young plus eleven great-grandchildren and two sister-in-laws, Wanda Zeiter of rural Bloomville, Ohio and Phyllis Young of Sycamore, Ohio.She was preceded in death by four brothers, Calvin, Richard, Lloyd and Harry Lutz plus three sisters, Gertrude Rossman, Hazel Black and Kathryn Bowman. Marty was a graduate of Holmes Liberty High School class of 1943 and she also attended Bowling Green State University. She worked with her husband on the family farm in Lykens Township and also for several years at the former Montgomery Ward order office in Bucyrus, Ohio. She was a 4-H advisor for many years, a life-long member of the Lykens Community Club and the Crawford County Homemakers Council. She was a 50 plus year member of the Order of the Eastern Star and was proud to serve as a Grand Representative to North Carolina. She and Franklin made many lasting friendships as they traveled the roads of Ohio visiting many OES Chapters as well as Ohio Grand Chapter and General Grand Chapter Sessions.Funeral services for Marty will be held on Wednesday, January 11 ,2017 at 11:00 A.M. at St. John's Baseline United Church of Christ with the Rev. Dr. Louis Dorsch officiating. Burial will follow at St. John's Baseline Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, January 11 ,2017 from 10:00-11:00 A.M. prior to the funeral service at the church.
