Croonenberghs, Mary Carol Mary Carol Croonenberghs, age 66, of Phoenix, passed away Sunday, December 25, 2016. She was born on December 7, 1950 in Durango, CO to the late Carl and Anita Miller. Mary was a graduate of Durango High School class of 1968. She married Donald Croonenberghs on April 25, 1970 in Scottsdale. Thanks to Mary's immense love and concern for animals she created and operated Critter Care of Arizona, taking care of numerous animals over the years. Survivors include her loving husband of 46 years, Donald; two children, Carlene Jackson and Carl Croonenberghs; a sister, Charlene Hunckle; two grandchildren, Jaydyn Parker and Caleb Jackson; and many other loving family and friends. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 pm on Saturday, January 14, 2017 at Shadow Mountain Mortuary, 2350 E. Greenway Road, Phoenix, Arizona 85022. An interment at National Memorial Cemetery of Arizona will take place at a future date. In lieu of flowers donations in Mary's honor may be made to PetSmart Charities or the Arizona Humane Society.
