Mary (Estein) Arnaiz, 99, of Santee, CA passed away on Wednesday, September 14, 2016. Mary was born on February 19, 1917 in Arizona. She married Clarence Arnaiz on October 29, 1932 in San Bernadino, CA. Mary and Clarence were married 65 years before his death in 1997. During those years they moved often to follow his work as a rancher. They settled in Imperial as their children grew up, and eventually settled in Alpine, California until Clarence's death, when Mary moved to Santee to be closer to her family. She was preceded in death by her husband, Clarence Arnaiz and daughter, Irene Arnaiz Alford. She is survived by her son, Robert R. Arnaiz of Lakeside, CA and son, Jim Arnaiz of Santee, CA; 12 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
