Seidl, Michael A.Michael A. Seidl, age 86, of Kewaunee died on Sunday, August 6, 2017 at Emerald Shores Estates in Kewaunee. He was born on April 3, 1931 at Luxemburg to the late Peter and Catherine (Seidl) Seidl.He married Delores (Becky) VandenAvond on August 19, 1961 at Holy Martyrs of Gorcum Church. She preceded him in death on September 23, 2000.Mike worked at Kewaunee Engineering most of his life until retiring in1993. He also farmed all of his life in the Town of Montpelier. He was a very avid Packer fan, enjoyed going to the casino, playing cards and spending time with his family.He was a lifelong member of St. Lawrence Church, now St. Therese Parish.Survivors include four daughters and sons-in-law: Debbie and Paul Wisnicky, Kewaunee; Lynn and Don Lensmire, Luxemburg; Karen and Paul Janda, Luxemburg; Theresa and Troy Karnopp, Luxemburg; one son and daughter-in-law: Tom and Jane Seidl, Kewaunee; ten grandchildren: April (Fiancé, Kyle Heinze) Wisnicky; Kyra Wisnicky; Ricky (Jessica) Karnopp; Jason (Kali) Karnopp; Nicole (Eric) Dietrich; Josh Lensmire; Chris and Nick Janda; Taylor and Kyle Karnopp; four great grandchildren: Gavin and Logan Karnopp; London and Briggs Karnopp and one great grandchild, baby Dietrich, due in October; sister-in-law and special friend: Marlene Seidl; sister-in-law: Lucy Seidl both of Kewaunee; four sisters-in-law: Betty (Vern) Scherer, Green Bay; JoAnn VandenAvond, Green Bay; Mary (Gene) Havlovetz, Maribel; Pat Baumgart, New Franken. He was preceded in death by a daughter: Sharon Karnopp; three brothers: Peter Seidl; John (Lillian) Seidl; Donald Seidl; three sisters: Frances (John) Swagel; Marie (Lawrence) Kinjerski; Dorothy (Robert) Jerovetz; two brothers-in-law: Francis VandenAvond and Phil Baumgart.Friends may call after 4:00 p.m. Wednesday, August 9 at Buchanan Funeral Home, Kewaunee. A parish wake service will be held at 7:00 p.m. Visitation continues on Thursday at the funeral home until 10:30 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. at St. Lawrence Church, Stangelville by Fr.
