It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Michael Owens, who was born on January 3, 1979, in Ferriday, Louisiana, United States. Michael passed away on October 16, 2024, at his residence.

Michael was the beloved son of Gary Pittman and Marcheller Banks. He was a devoted partner to Cookie Batiste and a loving father to his four children, Jasia Johnson, Jyrese Johnson, Savier Picou, and Kayden Harmon.

Michael attended Ferriday High School and continued on to be a Licensed Barber among many other jobs he had. He was a dedicated student and aspiring barber, always striving to better himself.

Michael will be deeply missed by all who knew him. His warm smile, caring nature, and unwavering strength will be remembered fondly by his family and friends.
