TIPP CITY — Michael Ray Sandlin, age 69, of Tipp City, passed away on Monday, Dec. 5, 2016, at SpringMeade Health Center.
He was born on Nov. 21, 1947, in Troy, to the late Lewis Sandlin and Jessie DeBord Sandlin of Nicholasville, Ky.
Mike is survived by his daughter: Angela Sandlin of Troy; brother: Patrick Sandlin of Nicholasville, Ky.; grandson: Corey Sandlin; great-grandson: Cole Sandlin and special friend: Patricia Humerick of Vandalia.
Mike served his country in the U.S. Marine Corp. He was a member of the Ginghamsburg Church. He was a part of the Jail Ministry and spoke with youth at the Miami County Juvenile Detention Center. Mike was formerly employed with Miami County Sheriff Department and Deltek.
Services will be held at 12:30 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 9, at the Ginghamsburg Church, Tipp City, with John Jung officiating. The family will receive friends from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. on Friday at the church.
