Anderson, MildredMildred L. (Laraby) Anderson, 85, Green Bay, passed away on Friday, February 3, 2017. She was born on April 29, 1931, in Escanaba, MI to the late Larry and Gertrude (Oliver) Laraby. Millie was a graduate of Gladstone High School, in Gladstone, MI. She enlisted with the Army in 1950, serving in Okinawa as a medical and surgical tech. Millie married Wendell R. Anderson on September 26, 1956, in Michigan. She worked at St. Vincent Hospital for more than 33 years before retiring in December of 1993. Millie and Wendell were both long time members of AARP and they enjoyed attending the ball games at Johanne's Park. Millie also enjoyed spending her time in her tomato garden, volunteering at the Aging and Disability Resource Center, and playing Bingo.Millie will be sadly missed by her brothers, Herbert Kallman, Larry Laraby (family friend Donna Vanderveren), and John Laraby; sister-in-law, Lee Laraby; as well as many, many nieces and nephews.In addition to her parents Millie was preceded in death by her husband, Wendell; brothers, James Laraby, David Kallman, and Ron Laraby; and a sister-in-law, Barbara Kallman.Visitation will be at Proko-Wall Funeral, 1630 E. Mason St., from 1:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m. on Sunday, February 12, 2017. The Funeral Service will be at 3:00 p.m. on Sunday at the Funeral Home.
