Muriel E. FettersMasonMuriel Edna (Hoskins) Fetters returned to her heavenly home on October 17, 2017 due to natural causes, she was 85.Muriel Fetters was born on October 12, 1932 in Leslie, MI to her parents, Hugh and Lilah Hoskins. Muriel graduated from Leslie High School. She married her husband, Franklin Fetters on December 26, 1954. Muriel farmed alongside Franklin working in the fields and barns. She had one daughter, Marcia Fetters. Muriel enjoyed and took pride in her gardening, canning, sewing and baking activities. She loved sharing these gifts with family, neighbors, friends and church members. Muriel was a loyal friend to many in the community. She was an active member and participant in activities at the Eden United Brethren Church for over 63 years. Muriel was a patient and supportive women who loved to provide support and help out whenever there was a need. She loved animals and took great joy in the companionship of her pets. Muriel passed peacefully away with Marcia Fetters at her side and Grace, her cat, on her lap.She is survived by her daughter, Marcia Fetters; brother, Donald Hoskins; and loving nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her husband, Franklin; parents, Hugh and Lilah; brother, Willard Hoskins; and sister, Marian Rolfe.A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, October 21, 2017 at Eden United Brethren Church, 1938 Eden Rd., Mason, MI 48854 with the Rev. Dan Bentz officiating. The family will receive friends from 5:00-8:00 p.m. on Friday, October 20, 2017 at the Gorsline Runciman Funeral Homes Ball Dunn Chapel, 621 S. Jefferson St., Mason, MI 48854 and one hour prior to the service at the church. A private interment will he held at Rolfe Cemetery in Mason.In lieu of flowers, those desiring may make contributions to Eden United Brethren Church, Heartland Home Health Care & Hospice, 865 S.
