Myrtle Lee Curtsinger Boblitt, 83, of Louisville, passed away at 6:46 p.m., Tuesday, Nov. 15, 2016, at her home.A native of Washington County, she was born on May 24, 1933, to the late Wayne and Martha Curtsinger.She was a member of the Mt. Zion United Methodist Church and a retired employee of the General Electric Company.Preceding her in death was her husband, Curtis Boblitt on Nov. 24, 2009, and a daughter, Patricia Ann Boblitt on Aug. 11, 1962.Survivors include her son, Darrell Wayne Boblitt, her grandson, Jody Wayne Boblitt both of Louisville and two sisters, Christine Simpson (Rev. Julian) of Lexington and Margaret Wayne Foster (Joe Darrol) of Campbellsville.Funeral services were held at 1 p.m., Friday, Nov. 18, at Carey & Son Funeral Home with Rev. Cal Adams, pastor of Temple Baptist Church, officiating.Burial was in the High View Cemetery at Chaplin.Pallbearers were Jody Boblitt, Joe D. Foster, Ryan McCurdy, Matt Ramser, Jeff Staten and Phillips Milburn.Carey & Son Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
