New AlbanyJacobs, Nickolas Lee,Nickolas Lee Jacobs was born on April 3rd, 1993 in New Albany, Indiana. He passed on April 1st, 2017 at the age of 23. He was blessed with and survived by his daughter Emerie Lee Jacobs. Nick was the beloved son of David A Jacobs and Laurie L Jacobs (Torp). He grew up with two brothers, Jesse D Jacobs and Jamie D Jacobs, who enjoyed being true boys. Nick is also survived by his grandmother Ruth Hoagland, grandfather Harold Hoagland, grandmother Darlene (Dolly) Wagoner, and a large extended loving family. He is preceded by his grandfather, the late Jess Richard Torp. He was a 2011 graduate of New Albany High School and a resident of New Albany and a prior resident of Borden, IN. He worked for the family business, MediShield, Inc. as a skilled carpenter. Nick was passionate about many things, and will be remembered most for his huge heart. God saw that Nick was getting tired and the cure was not to be. So, he put his arms around him and whispered, "Come with Me." With tearful hearts, we watched him fade away. Although we loved him dearly, we could not stop him from continuing his quest to help others from Heaven. Visitation will be 1:00 pm to 7:00 pm Wednesday at Kraft Funeral Service, 2776 Charlestown Road, New Albany, Indiana. A Memorial Service will begin at 7:00 pm Wednesday in the funeral home chapel.
