Couillard, Norbert FrancisNorbert Francis Couillard, 83, Green Bay, died Sunday, July 2, 2017. He was born on June 13, 1933, in Gladstone, MI to Grover Cleveland and Grace Elizabeth (Saunders) Couillard.Norbert had a love of music. He played steel guitar, having played in Nashville and travelled the country performing, as well as in local nursing homes. The name of his family band was "Singing Norm and the Mountaineers". Norbert drove truck for Koss Lumber in Eagle River.He is survived by his children and their spouses, Mark (Kristy) Cummings, Kelly Cummings, Tina Cummings, Debbie Cummings, Todd Cummings, Wayne (Brenda) Couillard, Peggy Couillard, Violet Ward, Lisa Couillard, Tammy Dante (Andre), Norbert L. (Marissa) Couillard; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; a nephew; and his former wife and caregiver, Dolores Vernosh.Norbert was preceded in death by an infant son, Norbert Couillard II; son, Charlie Couillard; his first wife, Judy Couillard; and his parents.Friends may call at Blaney Funeral Home, 1521 Shawano Ave., from 4 to 7 p.m. Thursday.
