Barbeau, Patricia M. "Pat"Patricia M. "Pat" Barbeau, 88, Howard, died Sunday, February 5, 2017. She was born on October 20, 1928 in Gladstone, MI to Andrew J. and Ruth O. (Beshaw) Potvin.On January 20, 1948, Pat married Francis Albert Barbeau at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Escanaba, MI. He preceded her in death on August 3, 1981. Pat loved her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, as well as cooking, eating chocolate and ice cream, and going up north. She also was an avid reader.Pat is survived by her children and their spouses, Fran (Mary Ellen) Barbeau, Cindy (Gordon) Boyd, Mike Barbeau, Gina (Gary Sr.) DeCaster, Renee (Dan) Kuntz, Lynn (Matt) Roatch, Sherry (Terry) Agamaite, Brian (Lynn) Barbeau, Pam (Scott) Farr, and Kriss (special friend, Amy) Barbeau; 20 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren, with two on the way; her sister, Bonnie Hill; and sister-in-law, Patricia Potvin.She was preceded in death by two sons, Ernie and Allan; her husband, "Frenchy"; brother, Jack Potvin; and sisters, Mary Lou and Carol.Friends may call at Blaney Funeral Home, 1521 Shawano Ave., from 3 to 5:30 p.m. Thursday, February 9.
