It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Patrick Hood, who was born on April 9, 1948 and passed away on July 23, 2024. Patrick resided in Whitwell, Tennessee.

Patrick Eugene Hood was a member of Victory Baptist Church and was in law enforcement for several years. Patrick was a truck driver for Hood Enterprises and Hampton Trucking both of Jasper, TN.

He was proceeded in death by his mother and father; Bartley Hood, Sr. and Lucille Hood, sister, Iva Sue Hood, Brothers; Robert Hood, Loyd Hood and Barley Hood, Jr., and Granddaughter; Patty Suzanne Hood.

Those left to cherish his memories are his wife of 28 years, Eloise Hood, daughters; Mary Eulanda Hood, Whitwell, TN, Jennifer (Ray) Haggard, Leesburg, Al., Angela (David) Maddox, Luther, OK, and Jessica (Steven Stamey) Baugh, Hixson, TN, sons; Jason (Holly) Hood, Whitwell, TN., and Brian (Cloe) Rice, Whitwell TN, sister; WandA (Bobby) Kilgore, Jasper, TN and several nieces and nephews; Fourteen grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.

Patrick's memory will live on in the hearts of those who were fortunate enough to have known him. May he rest in peace.
