Patsy Lee Wicks Patsy Lee Wicks, 83, of Atascadero, passed away on Saturday, October 29, 2016 in Templeton. She was born on February 5, 1933 to Rev. Lee and Artel Goodwin, in Hydro, Oklahoma. Known as "Pat" to most people, she moved to Atascadero after college, where her father was pastoring at the Church of the Nazarene. That is where she met and married Archie Wicks in 1955. The couple raised their family and resided in Atascadero for over 60 years. Pat was a long-time member of the Atascadero Church of the Nazarene where she played the organ and piano and sang in the church choir. Along with being a housewife and mom, Pat worked as a sales clerk for the Style Center in Paso Robles and Riley's Dept. Store in Atascadero. She had a great love for her grandchildren and loved seeing them have their own children. She was a soft spoken, gentle lady who loved her Lord, read her bible and prayed often. She was a fabulous cook and enjoyed putting on a meal for family and friends. Pat was preceded in death by her husband of 60 years Archie Wicks in June of 2016. She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Randy and Debbi Wicks and son and daughter-in-law Rick and Margaret Wicks. 6 grandchildren: Andi (Justin) Malone, Mason (Remy) Wicks, Mandi (Nate) Merkle and Shandi (Garrett) Cowan, Erin Wicks McNellis and Morgan Wicks, 8 great-grandchildren and numerous cousins, nieces and nephews. Arrangements are being handled by Chapel of the Roses and a memorial service is planned for Saturday,November 12, 2016, at Trinity Lutheran Church, 940 Creston Rd., Paso Robles, CA, at 1 pm.
