Paul Fischer, age 54 of Fredericktown died Thursday, February 2, 2017 at home. He was born on September 1, 1962 to late Joel Ellsworth Fischer Sr. and Marilynn (Jones) Fischer who survives.

Paul was a 1981 graduate of Highland High School. He went on to serve in the United States Navy. Paul loved to read.

In addition to his mother Marilynn, Paul is survived by two brothers; Christopher Fischer of Nanticoke, PA; and Matthew Fischer of Fredericktown.

Paul was preceded in death by a brother, Joel Fischer Jr. and a sister-in-law, Penna Fischer.

A memorial Service will be held Sunday, February 5, 2017 at 1:00 pm at the Gompf Funeral Home, 440 Center Street, Cardington, OH 43315 with Full Military Honors.
