Peru, Paulino C. Paulino C. Peru was called home on February 16 to be with his 16 brothers and sisters at the age of 90. He was born on May 16, 1926, the son of the late Valente and Laura Peru. He was raised in Duncan/Morenci, Arizona before moving to Phoenix to join the City of Phoenix Water Department. He proudly served in
World War II as an infantryman in the U.S.
Army and received the
Bronze Star among other medals and ribbons. He is survived by his wife Lucy (Isabel) Peru, his son Edward Paul Peru, daughter Cecilia (Chila) Rios (Carlos), step-son David Sandoval (Sylvia), along with 10 grandchildren, 24 great grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild. Services will be held Friday, February 24, 2017 at Resthaven/Carr-Tenney Mortuary & Memorial Gardens, 4310 E Southern Ave, Phoenix, AZ 85042; Visitation at 11:00am, Funeral at 12:00pm immediately followed by Burial.
